Son Servera is an idyllic municipality in the east of the island of Mallorca. It is part of the Llevant region. In addition to the same named village of Son Servera, the surrounding villages of Cala Bona, Cala Millor, Costa dels Pins, Port Nou, Port Verd and Port Vell also belong to the area of the municipality.
Surrounded by beautiful nature
Son Servera impresses with a large, evergreen natural landscape that invites you to hike and explore. Between the villages of Cala Millor and Cala Bona you will find the Sa Punta de n’Amer nature reserve. Untouched nature found here is not only popular among tourists. The locals also like to retreat here and enjoy the peace and idyll far away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The watchtower Castell de sa Punta de n’Amer, a remnant from the 17th century, is also located here in the nature reserve and is a popular destination for excursions. From here you can enjoy fantastic views over Mallorca, the sea, the countryside and especially Cala Millor.
Unique sights
In Son Servera, you can marvel at the church of Sant Joan Baptista, but it is above all the Església Nova church, which was never finished. The beaches in the surrounding coastal resorts (approx. 10 min drive by car) such as Cala Bona, Cala Millor and Sa Coma with their fine, soft sand and crystal-clear water are ideal for sunbathing and relaxing but also offer a wonderful and refreshing bathing experience.
