You would like to issue powers of attorney for your property in Mallorca? Then you must consider the Spanish attorney right. Here applies: for most of these a notarial certification is necessary. There are few exceptions, as for example the participation in a owners’ meeting. Here a private, handwritten power of attorney is sufficient.
General powers of attorney or special ones are usually certified by the notary. In principle, all areas must be listed individually for these agreement in Spain. Thus it is then for the representative unproblematically the assigned actions to execute. The representative can be a lawyer, family member or the Finca administrator.
The Spanish law does not know a post- or transmortale power of attorney, i.e. with the death of the authorisor the power of attorney expires.
